Reflection 16Here I am in the Bentley again. The car that has meant so much to me in the past that it is almost like coming home, and yet, I am determined not to be anything but cold and distant to David. I can see his profile out of the corner of my eye and he is just as devastatingly handsome as ever, except that he looks a little thinner. There is something taut and rather fine-drawn about him, which I can’t remember noticing before.
