Those eyes.... I've never seen anything so pretty in my life. They are bright blue, a few shades lighter than mine. The girl is beautiful, with blonde curls hovering around her shoulders, a heart shaped face, and thick and pouty lips.
I heard the word that started bouncing around in my head but it took me a moment to even realize what it was.
"Mate." Tyson insists. "That's mate."
"Hi." she says, raising her hand and waving in my direction.
I stare, noticing the way the light is shining down on her, accentuating the lighter blonde streaks in her hair. I open my mouth, trying to respond, but the words won't come out. I close my mouth, before opening it again. I probably resemble a fish out of water right now, trying to suck in air that doesn't seem to exist.
