WE ARE AWARDED at school on Monday. During the flag ceremony, where every student lined up at the open field, the school principal announced that the recently concluded inter-high school expo was successful. Everybody applauded and the music blared every day after a statement given by the principal. The sun was striking hot but no one seemed to bother as the students gossiped randomly while still falling in line. On the other side of the field, there was a bit of chaos with students just talking and laughing, not minding if they were still in their exact line. Mondays are for flag-raising ceremonies on the campus. Every student and faculty member is required to attend, and those who could not attend would have a sanction.
