Robert was working overtime when his phone rang, later that day.
Seeing Charles' number flushing on the screen of his phone made him feel frightened. His heart started running so hard on his chest. He could almost feel and tell that the call he was about to receive did not bear good news.
So many thoughts ran through his mind and the one that stood out was about Susan. What if she had actually told him the entire truth and that is why he was calling.
