“Professor Van der Linden?”
Mina almost jumped at the sound of Alexei’s bright voice speaking up beside her. She turned and noticed his hand raised excitedly in the air.
“Yes, Alexei?” asked the professor, his eyebrow raised.
“Since this is Miss Mina’s first class, can we play ‘Fact or Myth?’ I love that game!”
“Perhaps tomorrow–“
“I think that’s a great idea!” interrupted Nico.
Professor Van der Linden eyed the students, who seemed to implore him with eager eyes. Mina looked between Alexei, Nico, and the professor with a confused expression.
“We’ll leave it up to Mina,” the professor said, and the slightest of smiles crossed his lips. He seemed pleasantly resigned to the pleas of Alexei and Nico.
“Oh, please, Miss Mina!” Alexei cried, turning to face her. “You must say yes!
