Hunter sat anxiously next to Daisy in the waiting room, but he held her hand to try and offer her some support. They sat in silence, but he hoped that his presence came off as strong and comforting, which was the opposite of what he truly felt. To distract himself, he glanced around their surroundings, although it did not feel much like a hospital. The décor was very bright and modern with a mixture of natural, desert-inspired architectural features, like the copper waterfall and the brown, polished concrete. Wide floor-to-ceiling windows allowed the room to be filled with natural light. The waiting area consisted of blue and green furniture pieces, separated by frosted glass partitions, which gave them a sense of privacy as Hunter languished in his own nervous emotions.
