Nora’s POV
With dumbfounded eyes, I stared at Lord Maddison, who didn’t look my way. I watched him march forward to the dude, forcefully take the gag off his mouth, and punch him in the face. “Holy goddess,” Lolita whispered while I stared with shocked-filled eyes.
When he told me the person behind the post had been caught, I thought he had probably been handed over to the authorities. I never knew he would be locked up in a basement.
“Take off the blindfold.” He told one of the men who stood behind the tied dude.
I watched them remove the blindfold and saw the terrified look on his face when he realized it was Lord Maddison standing before him. “Lord…” he tried speaking, but his words got stuck in his mouth as Lord Maddison threw a blow at him, causing his nose to bleed.
