"Your second chance mate?" I asked, finding it difficult to believe what I had just heard from him.
"Yes, I didn't know until I met her a few hours ago," Maddison responded, and I shook my head in disbelief. "This can't be happening, it's not possible. She is still my mate," I argued, and Lord Maddison stepped closer to me. "Then I believe this will be a problem, Leo," he challenged, holding my gaze.
"You see, I let her go two years ago because I thought she wasn't mine to keep. But now that I know she's mine, I'm sorry, Leo, but I'm not letting go of her," he challenged, causing Ethan to howl in anger.
"She is now mine, Leo, and I won't let you have her so easily," he challenged and left the room while I slumped on the couch, struggling to understand what's happening.
