Alpha Leo's POV

''You've found your mate?'' Mother asked with disbelief in her voice. It was obvious she didn't believe what I had just told her. ''Yes, mother, and you will meet her when you return,'' I spoke firmly, with no trace of uneasiness in my voice, not like I was lying about it.

''Are you sure about it, or are you just saying this to stop me from sending the proposal?'' She asked, getting me irritated. ''I met her today, mother. I met her on my visit to the school. She is a student,'' I announced and stood to my feet.

''Really?'' Mom spoke excitedly, ''Why didn't you tell me sooner? So, what does she look like?'' She asked with so much excitement in her voice, which angered and irritated me. ''Mom, can we talk about this…''? '' No, son, you will tell me what she looks like and why you are not excited,'' She demanded, causing a heavy sigh to leave my lips.

''I'm excited, mother. I'm just tired,'' I lied.

Mother went silent for a moment before asking, ''Tell me what she looks like,'' She urged, causing me to groan within myself before speaking. ''She has fair white skin, a slim slender body, blond hair, and sea-blue eyes.'' I lied, describing her twin sister to mother.

''Wow, so why are you not excited about it? Is it because she might not be from a wealthy family?'' She asked, and I quickly said yes, so she would stop asking further questions.

She went silent for a moment before speaking, ''Don't be like your father, who was only interested in status and wealth.'' She advised, while I released a heavy sigh. If only she knew why I was unhappy about it. ''I will be back home this weekend. Set a meeting with her,'' She said, while I scoffed and ended the call.

With a frustrated sigh, I threw the phone on the bed and stood at my feet. I was so frustrated about my condition, and I had just lied to Mother. ''I hope you will not do something silly,'' Ethan warned, '' Can you keep quiet?'' I yelled at him, ''Shutting me up will not change the fact that she is our mate. Learn to accept her.'' ''Never! I will never accept her. Didn't you see how she looked? How do you expect me to show her off to everyone?'' I spat out as I frustratedly ran my fingers through my hair.

Deep down, I wish all this was just a nightmare, and I would wake up from it.

With a groan, I put on my shoes, picked up a jacket, and left my room. I hurried down the stairs, ignoring the greetings of the servants I met on the way. I got to the sitting room and met Jayson talking to one of the security guards. ''I'm going out. Alone.'' I said and got a nod from him.

After leaving the sitting room, I met Jackson outside, took the car keys from him, and walked to the garage. I opened the black Mercedes, got in, and drove out of the mansion.

As I drove on the empty road in Agada town, images of her kept flashing in my head, causing a heavy groan to leave my lips. ''This is not possible.'' I yelled and banged on the car's steering, '' Damn it, damn it!'' I yelled and speeded until I drove into a familiar club.

With a sigh of relief, I turned off the car's engine, stepped out of the car, and walked towards the entrance door of the club. ''Welcome, alpha Leo.'' The bouncers at the door greeted me as they opened it to let me in.

As I walked into the club, I inhaled deeply and walked toward the counter. ''Is he in?'' I asked. ''Greetings, yes Alpha, he is in,'' She responded. I left the counter, walked towards the door, and knocked on it before entering.

I got in and saw Justin, my childhood friend, seated behind his desk with a glass of wine. ''Leo, you never told me you were coming,'' He said while I sighed and sat on the couch. Tiredly, I massaged my forehead and said nothing to him. '' What is wrong?'' Justin asked as he left his seat and made his way to me. I didn't give him a response; instead, I groaned angrily and lifted my head to him. ''I need a distraction. Can you get me one?'' I asked and noticed he gave me a questioning look before taking the couch across from me. ''What is going on?'' he asked, but I didn't respond. I couldn't tell him I might have met my mate, and she was the opposite of what I wanted.

''You don't want to talk about it?'' He asked and got a nod from me. ''Fine, I'll get you someone,'' He said and stood to his feet.

He walked back to his desk, picked up the telephone, and made a call.

''You shouldn't do it.'' Ethan spoke, ''Please keep quiet.'' I yelled out, causing Justin to take a glance at me, but he didn't say a word; rather, he went back to the phone.

''Shutting me up won't…'' before my wolf could complete his statement, I caged him and put it at bay.

With a sigh, I rested my head on the headrest of the couch and closed my eyes. ''She is in my private room,'' He announced, getting my attention.

''Thank you, Justin.'' I sighed and stood at my feet. Justin walked up and gave me a quizzical gaze before speaking. ''My wolf senses you are troubled. What's going on?'' He asked. ''I don't wanna talk about it,'' I grumbled and walked away.

I got to Justin's private room, walked into it, and saw a brown skin girl seated on the couch wearing just underwear.

When I closed the door, she stood to her feet and respectfully lowered her head. ''Greetings.'' she greeted me while I responded with a nod and kept my phone and car keys on the table.

Without saying a word to her, I took off my jacket, dropped it on the couch, and began unbuttoning my shirt, holding the gaze of the girl who seductively glared at me.

Ignoring her gaze, I took off my shirt and was left with just my Jean pants. ''Get undressed,'' I ordered and strolled to the mini bar in a corner of the room. I took out a bottle of whiskey and filled up a glass before turning to face her.
