“What do you think she must have said to them?” Lolita asked worriedly while I shrugged my shoulders and descended the stairs. As I took the stairs, I was a bit worried. It was disrespectful to lay a hand on an Alpha’s mate, and even though she wasn't one, I knew I was in for big trouble because, to Lady Christabel, she was Alpha Leo’s mate.
