2066 Words

I quietly climb the stairs to my room. Exhausted by the events of this evening, I sit at Sara’s desk and watch the latest Sara video on loop. My Sara... and I thought I knew you... I notice a new email in her inbox. I click on it and read the title: The man with the star balloon. I smile. Could he be someone who has received my letter? The man with the star balloon: [Today, I found a pretty star accompanied by a small card. It was intended for Sara, but your words have touched me. I know what it is to lose someone. I know the great void that fills your chest and the pain you feel. I would also like to write to you.
