Chapter 7: Kennard

I seriously don’t understand what had happened? Did I just let that guy bully me? I didn’t even know him and he has the guts to touch me?! He has the guts to say those things to me?!

I knew it! Dark places are really not for me!

“Hey, you okay?”

Travis nudged me.

“Oh.. sorry.. I am just thinking about something.” Travis's left brow raised at me, it’s as if he is asking me more about it but I just shook my head.

“Don’t mind me,”I said and gave him a smile.I sighed when he let it go, and did not push me to tell him. That's what I like about Travis, he knows his limit and the boundaries between us. We have been closer than the past few days, and maybe that's because we are always together at work since he is my Mentor but then he still calls me Ms. Brown, how frustrating!

After a minute or so, he suddenly stood up and looked down at me.

“Do you want to come with me?”

“Where?”

“I need to give something to Mr. Soleil.” He said with a ghost smile on his lips.

“I- I can come with you?” My eyes is wide with surprise and he really looks amused at my expression.

“Why not?”

“W-well..because..that might be something..uhmnnn..confidential? I mean, you guys might need to talk about something-”

“Relax Ms. Brown. I wouldn’t invite you to join me if we need to discuss something confidential, would I?” He asked and I shook my head so fast.

“Besides, this is a party, we won’t be talking about work.. I just really need to give him something and of course, we need to greet him.”

“Well..if that's the case.. then please take me with you, I would love to meet the CEO of Soleil International!” I said in a very excited voice. I may look like a child who will be going to an amusement park but hell..who cares?!

 Actually, I thought that he will be giving a welcome speech or something since he is the CEO. But then the Vice Chairman did instead of Mr. Soleil and when I asked Travis about it he just said that Mr. Soleil is not in the mood to do that tonight.

As we walked through the sea of people my heart kept on thumping so loudly. I feel like vomiting when we reached the room where Mr. Soleil is resting because of my nervousness. When I looked at Travis he just gave me a warm smile that somehow made my nerves calm down.

Travis knocked and the door suddenly opened. A tall and muscular man appeared in front of us. He is wearing a dark suit and his face is wearing a stoic expression that made him look so mysterious. He looks around in his late 30's and somehow really has a lethal and handsome face. He somehow reminds me of the MEN IN BLACK!

“Kennard-” I sucked my breath when I heard Travis mentioned the guy that I am dying to meet aside from Mr. Soleil! I wasn’t able to understand what they are talking about because I am busy staring at Kennard until he noticed it and looked down at me. Even if I am wearing four inches sandals, he is much taller than me.

When our eyes met, his face softens and he gives me a nod.

“Ms. Brown this is Kennard” Travis said and I saw how Kennard bows a bit which made my eyebrows furrow.

Why would he bow at me?

“Good evening Ms. Brown, finally we met.” He said in a formal and professional voice that almost made me wrinkle my nose.

“Good evening sir, I am so delighted to meet you!” I said in an excited voice. Finally, my nerves had calm down, gone is the nervousness that I am feeling a while ago.

“The pleasure is mine, Ms. Brown. And please call me Ken.” He said that made my lips parted. I turned to look at Travis and it's as if he can read the question in my head that made him chuckle.

“Kennard wants you to be comfortable with him.” He explained that made me nod several times like a child who just learned something new.

“And you can call me Cali.” I offered.

“I don’t think so..I preferred Ms. Brown.” He said with a smirk.

Now that made me wonder. Why do they keep on calling me Ms. Brown and won’t let me call them in a formal name too?

"Oh.. okay."

“I’m sorry. But something came up that’s why Mr. Soleil needs to leave asap, he is currently changing his clothes so he won’t be able to meet you.” He explained.

My eyes grew wide. First, he doesn’t need to explain to a mere intern like me, and second in disappointment that I am feeling now.

I am disappointed but I made sure they won't notice it.

“Ahhhh..” I said. Before I turned to look at Travis and he gave me a sad smile.

“It’s okay, I just came here with Travis and I don’t have an appointment or something with Mr. Soleil..” I said and gave him a small smile to show that it's okay.

Kennard turned to look at Travis. It’s like they are talking without words because they seem to come to an agreement.

“Well then we should go Ms. Brown, it’s getting late I will drop you home.” Travis broke the silence.

“Oh..uhmn okay. But you don’t need to drop me home, I can call a taxi-“

“I must!”

“He must!”

Travis and Kennard said the same time that surprised me.

I giggled when they looked at each other.

Kennard shook his head with a small smile on his lips.

Travis just cleared his throat and turned to me.

“Let’s go my Lady..” he joked.

"Bye Ms. Brown, see you around.

I think, my eyebags are so big and dark since I wasn’t able to have a good night's sleep.

I had a weird dream and it felt so real again!

In my dream, I was already sleeping when a warm body hugged me from my back. It was so comfortable that I pushed myself on his embrace..I never felt so peaceful in my sleep as far as I remember. So I enjoyed the hug. But then, I remembered how his hand slowly caressed my legs, then it went up to my hips the to my waist..until it reached my breast and he gently squeezed it that it made me moan.

“You are mine..”A husky voice whispered to my ear, is warm breath almost tickled my neck.

“Hmnn..”

His hands went back to my legs again.

“Part your legs for me baby..”

And I did, of course, I will! It’s not as if I can control what I am doing in my dream right?!

Since I am lying in bed sideways, I can only part it a bit, just enough to give him space to reach my underwear.

I can feel his fingers making a circle on top of my panty and it feels so good that held his hand and guide his fingers inside my panty that made him chuckle.

“My baby is so excited.” He said as his finger touched my slit. His finger went up and down to my slit that my lips parted because of the excitement and the delicious feeling that I am enjoying now.

I can feel my hips moving with his finger, then from one finger he added another one and made circles on my cli*, he moved so fast that my hips also moved with him.

“Ohhh.. yes! yes!” I almost screamed!

I can feel something building inside of me, but before I was able to release it he stopped.

The warm body beside me was gone.

And when my eyes opened, I am in my room, alone. And somehow just had a wet dream!

I hate it!

It is so frustrating!

Maybe I just need to get laid!
