The overseer continued the meeting for another hour before finally ending it. And as she bid all of the tribe leaders goodbye, Bella watched them with a sharp eye. She ahd no idea why but her attention keeps going to the man who spoke before.
Bella felt like she should have heard what he whispered during the meeting but it was not like she could turn back time and she most definitely could not ask him what he had said as that would be rude of her.
While in deep thought, Bella did not notice that Matias had walked over to her.
“Guardian.” Matias called.
Bella snapped out of her thoughts and turned towards Matias. Her forehead creased and she glared at Matias with her lips pursed.
“Don’t call me that. I’m not used to it yet. Just call me Bella.” Bella grumbled.
