Shane sat face to face with Doctor Jarvis Orwell in his very quiet and clean room. He had been Shane's therapist since Shane experienced emotional shock after the death of his parents. It was his grandfather who took Shane to see a psychiatrist because he saw signs of mental instability in his grandson after Shane experienced a series of unpleasant events.
