Cammila gasped in surprise when a car pulled up in front of her after sounding a deafening horn. Cammila almost got angry at the car driver for surprising her. But when the driver of the car got out, all her anger suddenly evaporated and was replaced with a smile.
“Need a ride, Ms?”
“Tsk, you surprised me, Jordyn. I thought you were a nosy driver who would tease me.”
“I am a kind driver who would like to offer you a ride.”
Cammila looked right and left. The road she passed looked quiet. She saw no sign of a taxi coming by to take her home. The nearest bus stop was two blocks from where she was standing. She was actually very tired and hoped to get home as soon as possible. Jordyn's generous offer was hard to refuse.
