I couldn’t make it to the office in time because I decided to spend time watching Lilas sleep. I cannot even explain what yesterday felt Iike to me. It’s just s*x but I haven’t gotten that feeling before, that strong sensation to lay on a woman. It was an intimacy that I didn’t know I was craving all these years. Thus, after heading a meeting that lasted an hour…I decided to head back home to change for another meeting that is set to open in a few hours.
“It’s the same shirt you wore yesterday. I saw you when you walked in.”
I turn back to see Lumen, walking into my room and I continue to take off my shirt as if I didn’t hear what she said.
“Is there a woman?” Lumen asks and I chuckle. Imagine how crazy she would be if she found out it was the daughter she abandoned.
