Lucas’s POV
I finally took the courage to ask Julian out. I wanted to get to know him better. We were at a café near college. We gave the waitress our orders and she quickly left to put them in.
“Thanks for accepting my invitation” I said shyly.
“No problem. I was actually happy that you invited me. I really was looking forward to see you again” he said smiling at me.
I couldn’t help but blush, but I had to keep it together. I wasn’t sure if he was gay. Didn’t want to get my hopes up.
“Great! Me too. Actually my friend Alana is the one that encouraged me to invite you. I really wanted to get to know you a little more”.
