Alana’s POV
We finally arrived. Two hours felt like an eternity, especially with how much tension there was between me and Lloyd. I got out of the car and went to my house. Mom and dad were waiting for me on the porch.
I hugged them “Hi mom and dad! I missed you! Where is Jade?"
“We did too sweetie! Jade is at a friend's house, she slept over" Mom said cupping my cheeks and giving me a kiss on my forehead “we cooked your favorite”.
Mom knew how to make my day. She made chocolate chip pancakes. I sat down and ate them, two months of not having them was torture. Suddenly, the door opened and Jade walked in. Her reaction to see me was priceless. She ran to me and hugged me tightly, not letting go. I laughed and hugged her back, I missed my little Rockstar.
