Rejected by the Alpha

CAPTURED

***BETH'S POV***

I couldn't believe what I had just witnessed. The men who were threatening us had disappeared, and there was no sign of them. I looked at the man standing next to me, and I saw that he seemed different. He was taller, and his eyes were glowing a bright amber color.

He was the man that I've been talking to, but he was also something else. And then, he turned to me, and he spoke.

"Beth," he called, his voice deep and resonant. "I should tell you the truth. I am not who you think I am. "You see, I am the Alpha," he continued, "the leader of the pack. And you are my mate.

" I was stunned by his words, and I couldn't believe what heard. "What do you mean?" I asked, my voice shaking. "How is that possible?"

He took a step towards me, and I felt a strange energy radiating from him. "You are not just any woman," he said, his eyes never leaving mine. "You are the one I've been searching for, the one who would complete me."

"I know this is a lot to take in," his voice gentle. "But I promise to explain everything to you. You see, I am not human. I am a werewolf, and I came from a long line of werewolves. We have the ability to shift from human to wolf, and back again. And when we find our mate, we have a connection that is unlike any other. I believe that you are my mate, Beth."

I looked into his eyes, and I could feel the truth of his words. But I still had so many questions, fear and doubt.

I turned and ran, my heart pounding in my chest. I knew that I shouldn't be doing this, that I was risking everything by being with this man. But I couldn't help myself. I had to get away from him, before it was too late. I ran as fast as I could, but I heard footsteps behind me. I looked over my shoulder, and I saw him running after me. I knew that I couldn't outrun him, and I could feel the panic rising within me. He was gaining on me, and I didn't know what to do.

Before I knew it, the Alpha had caught up to me, and he grabbed me by my arm. I tried to pull away, but his grip was too strong.

"Please," I begged, "let me go. I don't want this." But the Alpha just looked at me, his eyes hard and unyielding.

"It's too late for that," his voice cold. "You're mine now, whether you like it or not." He dragged me towards his home, but I knew that I was too powerless to stop him.

As we walked through the woods, I became aware of something strange. The Alpha could smell the air, almost like a wild animal. He could use his senses to navigate the woods, and it seemed that he was also tracking me by my scent alone. This only confirmed my suspicions about him. I was terrified of what is to come, and I didn't know what I could do to escape. I tried to think of a plan, but I was at a loss. The Alpha is too strong, and he is taking me somewhere I don't want to go.

Finally, we reached a large, imposing mansion, and the Alpha dragged me inside. The inside is just as imposing as the outside, and I felt like I had entered a different world. The Alpha guided me through the halls, and it felt like I was being led to my doom. We stopped in front of a large door, and the Alpha unlocked it with a key. I felt my heart pounding in my chest as he opened the door, revealing a large, luxurious bedroom.

The Alpha's eyes flashed with anger as he looked at me. "You tried to run away from me!" he growls. "You disobeyed me. And for that, you will be punished."

I felt shivers of fear run down my spine. The Alpha is a powerful and dangerous man, and I knew that I was at his mercy. He grabbed me by the arm and pushed me towards the bed. I was afraid of what he would do next, and I felt like I was trapped, with no way out.

The Alpha loomed over me, his expression dark and unreadable. I felt completely powerless as he started to remove my clothes, his movements forceful and unforgiving. I tried to speak, to plead with him that I am a virgin and I have never done this before, but I was cut off by a hard look.

"You will not speak unless spoken to," he warned, his voice low and threatening. "You will do as I say, or there will be consequences."

I felt a tear slip down my cheek as I realized the situation that I was in.

After the Alpha removed my clothes, he stood up and walked towards the door. I stared at him, my eyes wide with fear. He opened the door and walked out, closing it behind him. I heard a loud click as he locked the door, and I knew that I was trapped. I felt a wave of panic wash over me, and I fell to the floor, sobbing. I felt completely alone and terrified, not knowing what the Alpha would do to me next.

The door to the room suddenly opened, and a young woman walked in without knocking. She did not look at me, but I could see that the expression on her face was one of distaste. She didn't seem friendly, and she did not introduce herself. She kept down a tray of food on the bedside table.

The young woman turned to me and said, "I'm Rose, and I'm the Alpha's cousin. I'm sure you're wondering why I'm not exactly thrilled to be here with you. Well, I don't think the Alpha should be wasting his time with you. You're nothing special, and I don't think you deserve his attention. But I'll do what I can to make your stay here as comfortable as possible."

I felt even more hurt and confused, not sure what to make of this woman or her ironic words.

I watched as Rose leaved the room, her demeanor arrogant and dismissive. I felt like I've been slapped on the face, and I couldn't help but feel tears welling up in my eyes. I knew that I didn't deserve to be treated this way, but I didn't know how to make her see that. I was just a lowly servant, and she is the Alpha's cousin. I was not sure how I can ever make her understand that I'm not a threat to her. I felt hopeless and defeated, and I didn't know what to do next.
