Chapter 7: Two guests

The frames are like a deposition. The time displayed on the edge is 09:30. More than five minutes later, nothing moved. The time is just displayed at 09:46. All five frames simultaneously have signal interference. Some images move like silhouettes in the last frame. She brought her eyes closer to the screen, trying to see the movement. “What are you doing here?” A loud shout came from the library door. Mr. Casper Morris appeared at the library door. Mr. Casper Morris yelled at him because he disapproved of Aurora Ward's use of the orphanage's computers without the teacher's permission or the Principal's consent. “Who gave you permission to use the Orphanage's computer?” The teacher pointed at Aurora Ward's face. "I also used it to repair computers for the camp in the past, sir." Aurora Ward weakly resisted Casper Morris's question. Mr. Casper Morris shouted: “So, is there any damage this time? Is there anything wrong? The side of Thunder Electronics Corporation gave technical support last week. Why don't I hear any teachers say there is a computer problem? Get out, now. Don't be so cocky like this is your home." Mr. Casper Morris walked quickly to Aurora Ward. She quickly hid the security camera frames. He stared intently at the screen, reaching out to pull the cord out of the socket. Then, as he waited for Aurora Ward to get out of the Library, he carefully locked the door. Aurora Ward was both embarrassed, angry, and frustrated and went straight to the gate to get her bicycle out of school without saying goodbye. When he saw that Aurora Ward had just disappeared, Mr. Casper Morris hurried to the library, reconnected the power cord, and turned on the computer. The computer screen lit up, and the teacher's fist slammed into the table. 'Boom!' His face contorted. Anger flared in his eyes. After thirty minutes of struggling on the streets, Aurora Ward reached home. The familiar door opened quickly and then slammed shut again. Along the way, questions torment Aurora Ward's thoughts, her mind spinning with the feelings, words, and actions ... of the Principal, Jake Hunt, and Mr. Casper Morris. In an instant, Aurora Ward learns that she has been drawn into a peculiar story. Aurora stepped into the bathroom. The water in the shower relieved some of the frustration earlier. Aurora stepped out and opened the window, took a breath, and gently pressed the computer's power button. The room is a little brighter. When at home, when she needs some calm and clarity, she will drink beer. Aurora Ward went to the refrigerator, opened the lid of the beer can, and took a sip, her tongue gathering all the foam on the corners of her lips. When the computer screen lights up, Aurora Ward settles on the backrest chair, her right hand moving the mouse and her left hand using a towel to wipe wet hair quickly. Aurora Ward uses the virtual IP set on the computer at the library, continuing to work. Suddenly, her virtual IP is attacked by a strange virus. Aurora Ward felt surprised, the rhythm of her fingers typing more urgently. Aurora quickly set up the code to deceive and kill viruses, but it also means virtual IP. Aurora Ward did not give up. She continued to create a new virtual IP, which redirected her to attack the orphanage's computer. The line was about to connect but was blocked by the firewall, and she smirked. Aurora Ward said: "Didn't I set up the orphanage's firewall?" Aurora Ward had just broken a layer of firewall when a new layer appeared even more complicated. She thought for a while and then proceeded to let the virus probe the network architecture at the orphanage. Aurora Ward's pupils dilated. In front of her was a multi-layered protected network architecture; personal firewall, network firewall, soft firewall, complex firewall, and built-in firewall. “Does an orphanage need to set up protection like this?” Aurora Ward's hand left the mouse. Aurora must have had a hand in the orphanage, and all the information she had gathered so far pointed to a single lead. “Thunder Electronics Corporation.” As usual, Aurora Ward pushed the glass door to step inside. The shop, after a day of absence, still looks the same. Everything is still in place, except for the plastic noodles that customers throw on the ground and noodle soup staining the corners of the background. Aurora Ward shook her head, sighing. Jasmine Hill waved her hand back and forth to get her attention. Aurora Ward entered the cashier, and Jasmine Hill laughed out loud. "Now I work with her, happy. Have you prepared your food yet?” Jasmine Hill smiled slyly. At the moment, Aurora Ward suddenly felt too tired to care for an 'adult girl' like Jasmine Hill all day. Aurora Ward glared at Jasmine Hill for a long time, annoyed: "Am I your nanny?" “If you were less harsh, you would already have a lover by now.” Jasmine Hill huffed, pouted, and gave Aurora Ward a sharp glance. Aurora Ward laughed. She looked at Jasmine Hill with a look of pity: “Love? I don't want to bet myself on such a high-risk game." "What if I have you?" Jasmine Hill spread her hand in front of Aurora Ward's face, her fingers dancing as if she were typing on a keyboard. "Then it's a risk." Aurora Ward raised her eyebrows at Jasmine Hill, reached for her green apron, and laughed. Jasmine Hill angrily stamped her feet on the brick floor. Jasmine Hill gritted her teeth, looking at Aurora Ward: “It's boring. I'll never fall in love with you!" Aurora Ward immediately praised herself, smiling proudly: "If so, I'm lucky." Jasmine's gaze seemed to contain thousands of nuclear warheads preparing to launch towards Aurora Ward. Jasmine Hill looked at Aurora for a long time and then surreptitiously nodded at a guest rambling on the phone. Jasmine said: “Huh! Speaking of love, look." “I know. I love you. Don't worry; I told her I borrowed money to pay for my sister's school fees. Wait a minute, I'll get the money, and I'll give it to you immediately. Yeah! Kiss you!" He grinned, shoved his phone into his pocket, walked over to the counter, flashed a seductive smile at Jasmine, and turned to an empty table. Jasmine Hill pointed to her face and looked at Aurora Ward with wide eyes. She laughed. From the door, a female customer came in quickly and pulled a chair to face the man from earlier. She smiled warmly and pulled out a small paper bag from her bag. The girl's eyes are lovely, full of happiness like her whole world is constantly shining: “Denzel Butler. Here are thirty thousand dollars. I just withdrew. Bring it back to your sister to pay the school fees." The 'wolf-hearted' man, Denzel Butler, moved his thin lips: "Rosie Hart, thank you. My sister will pay her school fees on time with this money, not afraid of being late." "Why do you thank me? In love, there is never a material calculation." Innocent Rosie Hart is still smiling in happiness. She doesn't know what the evil man's mind is like. Denzel Butler still boasted: "Yes, yes." Inside the cashier, Jasmine Hill gasped in surprise, turned, and grabbed Aurora Ward's sleeve: "Help that poor girl!" Jasmine Hill flashed her glittering puppy dog eyes. “What do you do about their business? And without proof, no matter what you say, no one will believe it.” Aurora Ward intends to refuse to care about other people's private affairs flatly. Aurora is used to a lonely life with no one beside her. So, personal issues are always something that she never wants to touch. “If you don't say it, let me do it. I will die for the sake of women.” Jasmine Hill rolled up her sleeves and raised her right fist high, proudly like a determined warrior, intending to rush straight to the table of the two guests. “Oh, my sister! Let me do it, and it's embarrassing for both of us." Aurora Ward hurriedly pulled Jasmine Hill's hand and sat down at the computer next to the cashier. Jasmine Hill wiped her nose with her thumb, laughing happily. Aurora reached inside the desk drawer, unplugged the power cord, and the wifi router quickly turned off the light. With the two guests happily talking but still using their phones, the girl surfed the web casually while the guy was attentive texting when he discovered he had lost the wifi. He turned to the girl, who were both slightly annoyed. He raised his eyebrows. The girl understood and asked the cashier: "Wifi has a problem, right?" Aurora Ward said: "Yes, the router is having a problem. Please connect to the wifi named Aurora Ward." Aurora Ward tiptoed, trying to see what kind of phone they were both using. The girl was a Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and his phone was a Samsung Galaxy Note 9. He raised the side of his mouth, looking at Jasmine Hill smugly, an indescribable feeling of excitement welling up in Jasmine Hill's heart. “Password, please!” Guy asked. His voice made Aurora Ward and Jasmine Hill hate themselves for not being able to punch him in the face a few times. “Yes, 'pass' is 'Aurora Ward, beautiful, smart, lovely, cute'. Aurora Ward capitalizes on the first letter.” Aurora's eerie voice surprised Jasmine and both guests. "Oh my God!" Jasmine Hill laughed heartily. The two guests at the table also laughed. The connection signal has just appeared, and Aurora Ward's phone screen announces that it has connected to two strange devices. Aurora quickly manipulated the phone screen with a few swipes and thumb presses. She suddenly stopped and beckoned Jasmine Hill to her side. Both girls kept sneaking like a couple in love secret because of the prohibition of the two families.
