Aurora Ward silently watched the tense atmosphere of the meeting room. Sebastian Mason took full notes and sometimes checked the company and personal recorders. Evans glanced at Sebastian Mason and Bradley Gordon, displeasure in his eyes. Aurora Ward assessed the situation, thinking that two conflicting forces might be right under Evans' nose. She reflected that Evans was a 'trouble' and 'trouble' enthusiast. Less than a minute later, Christine Duffy appeared in the meeting room with a very calm face. “Currently, I keep all the Thunder Electronics Corporation case files.” Christine Duffy's lips curled up, her eyes filled with disrespect. She showed no sign of feeling that she would hand this file over to anyone. When Aurora heard about 'Thunder Electronics Corporation', she unconsciously looked at Christine. Evans looked at Christine Duffy with a menacing look. Perhaps in a long time, Christine had never felt so close to danger as now: "You hand it over to Aurora." “But… she's new. I don't know if she needs my help or not?" Christine Duffy looked annoyed at Evans. She didn't want to pass this file on to Aurora Ward. Who doesn't know that Thunder Electronics Corporation is one of the largest corporations in the United States, and it is impossible not to know that President Jake Hunt of Thunder Electronics Corporation is both single and handsome? How could Christine Duffy pass up a rare opportunity like this? "Hand over or get fired. I don't have that much time." Evans finished speaking and left the room, his eyes beckoning Aurora Ward to follow him. She stood up and smiled at everyone, and then left. As soon as they were gone, Christine Duffy plopped down on a chair and said, "Why is he looking at me so horribly? God, I want to stop my heart." “Didn't you intend to appropriate this file for your own? If I had the right to use a gun, I would have shot you dead long ago." Sebastian Mason sneered to his feet and shot Christine Duffy with a look of disdain. “How can you talk to me like that?” Christine Duffy shouted. She looked to Bradley Gordon for help. But Bradley Gordon pretended not to see it: "Don't worry, no bullets can penetrate or touch you." “Bradley Gordon, what do you mean by that?” Christine Duffy glared at Bradley Gordon. She felt that there was no goodwill in his words. Bradley Gordon lingered in front of the conference room door, looking at Christine Duffy with a mocking smile. He spoke with soft lips and tried to refine every word: " Like bullets, they despise you, so they don't want to touch you." As soon as Bradley Gordon finished speaking, he burst out laughing. Christine Duffy screamed like a madwoman: “Damn it! Are you guys assholes? Is that how you treat women?" At the office of General Manager Evans. Evans poured a lightly scented champagne and handed it to Aurora Ward. Then Evans smiled as if everything was perfectly normal. Evans said: “Aurora Ward, you must be shocked, aren't you? The CIA's cybersecurity agency doesn't feel safe leaving you on this task alone, or you might think I need an assistant, for example. Sometimes you have to change your perspective to see things comfortably.” “Evans, are you and I on a mission together?” Aurora Ward took a sip of wine and looked at him with a meaningful look in her eyes. Evans responded to her with a carefree attitude, letting a smile tug at the corners of his lips: “Yes, but I'll tell you. First, these aren't internships or tests. Every gesture, every action we take has to pay with our lives." "I will arrange for you to become a Crisis Specialist of Thunder Electronics Corporation. Your task is to get the most out of this Group through the incumbent Group Chairman Jake Hunt." "And remember, don't let your emotions affect your reason. The CIA's cybersecurity agency will never forgive agents who let emotions affect their mission. The penalty is only one, that is death.” "I know." Aurora Ward set her wine glass down on the table and nodded. “Then, prepare to take a job at Thunder Electronics Corporation tomorrow. Make it good.” Evans put her hands on Aurora Ward's shoulders. She felt the weight pressing down on her body. Aurora Ward returned to her tiny apartment that the CIA's cybersecurity agency had arranged in advance. She took off her clothes and shoes and threw them on the new bed. She stood in front of the naked mirror, looking at herself. “This is not me, this face, this body, this identity… All of this is fake? Where are you, Aurora Ward? How can I find you?" Aurora Ward laughed as her hands were caressing her body, her eyes cold and filled with pain. Aurora Ward quietly entered the bath, the hot steam gently blowing on her body, covering her white body. The soft, moist heat and the faint rose scent brought her back to the past six years ago. Jonathan pushed open the door to enter the room. He looked at her with strange eyes: "Have you finished thinking?" “I will join the [Changing Identity of Witness Project].” Aurora Ward coldly looked at Jonathan. He nodded, his thick lips curling: "Okay, I like your quickness." Aurora's facelift process began with Jonathan taking her to the headquarters of the CIA's cyber security agency in Singapore for plastic surgery. Even though Aurora Ward was mentally prepared, she still couldn't bear the thought of her face being torn by cutlery and 'injected' by a group of people as much as chemicals like silicon. Aurora Ward lay on the operating bed, trying to make the most of her last moment of sobriety. A male doctor walked up to Aurora Ward. In his hand was a medium-sized syringe that she thought was anesthetic, although she had no idea what they would do to her. The male doctor injected fluid into the IV, looking at her through his light gray eyes. He said: “Do you have any dreams?” “Me? I dream that I have the right to hate.” Aurora Ward laughed. “Hate against the CIA's cybersecurity agency? Or hate the person who made you go this far?” The male doctor said in a joking, joking voice. He acts like Aurora Ward, is enjoying and comfortable with plastic surgery like this. “I wish I had the right to hate…” Aurora fell deep into a trance, her eyes slowly closing. Memories keep approaching as quickly as cool water stretches. The following day, Aurora Ward dressed in a suit and high heels to go straight to Thunder Electronics Corporation. The headquarters of Thunder Electronics Corporation appeared like a giant castle, towering in front of the New York sky. Aurora Ward is a little apprehensive about her outfit. Aurora tries to limit colors and textures as much as possible, but from the first steps on the dark granite background, Aurora Ward realizes she is too lost in the middle of a moving tropical flower forest. She felt dizzy among the beautiful flowers moving, jerking her jaw, puffing out her chest, and pouting. Aurora Ward goes to the reception area. The receptionist looked at her from head to toe, tacitly confirmed the value of her outfit, then smiled graciously and led Aurora Ward to the top floor. The staff in the elevator were talking about a lot of things. Aurora Ward faintly overheard. She was curious about what 'video clip of the Chairman at the bar' the dedicated employees were talking about. She was about to ask but then stopped. The elevator doors opened, and Aurora Ward saw an old acquaintance, Jake Hunt. “Did I invite you to come up here to work and chat with each other? From outside the elevator, I heard the brothers and sisters whispering loudly. It makes no sense.” Jake Hunt scowled as he glanced at the staff. Immediately, a female employee named Director Nicole Stanley came forward to apologize to Jake. Aurora Ward followed them into the President's Office: "You're Aurora Ward, the emergency handler, aren't you?" “Good morning, Boss.” Aurora Ward smiled, nodding slightly. Jake Hunt was a little surprised by Aurora Ward's haughty appearance. She had no respect for him at all. “Enjoy the last bit of leisure in your life, young lady.” Jake Hunt walked over to Aurora Ward's side, handed her a bottle of water, and then walked over to the desk to listen to the employees begin to talk. Director Nicole Stanley and the employees began to attack other departments and complain to Jake Hunt about the work results. Jake Hunt frowned. Meetings like this often give him headaches because of some employees' lack of progress, sluggishness, and stagnation. He would fire a few employees each time because of their negative working attitude, which did not bring efficiency and quality to work: “In the end, I have to solve these problems for you guys.?" Director Nicole Stanley's face turned pale. She was silent and dared not answer. All the employees were also trembling in fear at Jack Hunt's wrath. Aurora clenched her fist. For her now, he was like an asshole.
