Chapter 27: Christine - Unworthy Enemy

Aurora looked at Christine, silently assessing. Even she had to admit that Christine was a gorgeous, fiery beauty. From the dress that hugs the body curves to the juicy lips that are always indifferently inviting. Her hair was iridescent red, as red as the flames of lust.

These things implicitly confirm that Christine is the 'Queen B's so mean' of this Group.

And, of course, Aurora didn't care about Christine at all. She was not her concern at the moment when all the information about Thunder Electronics Corporation was just a hazy mess to her.

Aurora looked at Christine and then said in a cold, slightly annoyed voice: “I just received the news this morning. Please lead me to the conference room.”

Christine looked at Aurora in amazement. She pointed her finger in her face and shouted: “Am I taking you to the conference room? Maybe you don't know, but I am the Head of the Legal Department of Thunder Electronics Corporation!"

Aurora casually looked at Christine and then turned to laugh at her: “Christine, I'm the Crisis Specialist invited by the President of your Corporation.”

Aurora's face suddenly relaxed slightly. Her eyes suddenly flashed: “Perhaps… maybe you don't know, but I just received an email appointing the position of Special Strategy Manager. Is it weird that I ask my staff to lead the way to the meeting room?”

Aurora instructs her: “Looks like I don't need to re-explain the process to you. But now you must quickly go to the Chairman to report the plan to handle this case. I heard the Chairman's side is very interested."

Christine was thrilled. Everyone in the Corporation knew that she was highly enamored with Jake. He often deliberately threw himself into his arms but only received short nights of love, and then he pretended that she had never appeared in the world.

What Christine wants is not only Jake's heart but also an identity - the wife of the Chairman of Thunder Electronics Corporation.

The knock on Jake's office door was soft. Jake's voice was low and cold: "Come in!"

"Mr. Jake, the Special Strategy Department representative, has arrived.” Billy laughed cheerfully.

His slightly witty personality always softens Jake's cold, harsh, fierce personality at Thunder Electronics Corporation.

Jake and Billy just entered the waiting room, seeing only Christine Duffy - Head of the Group's Legal Department, but not Aurora. Jake felt frustrated, then angry.

His face was full of malice, and there seemed to be black smoke rising above his head. Billy understood Jake's extreme frustration and nestled softly behind him. As for Christine, she just felt the extraordinary atmosphere in the room and immediately smiled an office smile.

She deliberately put on an industrial smile, but still mixed with a hint of lust: "I came to report on the solution of the case at a subsidiary of our Group."

"Where's the file?" Jake looked at his watch. His voice was starting to grow grumpy, and impatience was evident on his face.

Christine quickly pulled out a thick file from her bag and held it with both hands. "Yes, here's the report."

"You know how long I had waited about this?" Jake glanced at the file, then looked out the window.

Suddenly, Christine swooped into Jake's lap, hugging him so fervently that he was a little frightened: "Now is not the time to discuss such things, Chairman."
