Chapter SevenLynn woke up and groped for her watch. It was six-thirty and the morning's light made its way into the room through the slight parting in the drapes, forming an elongated oval across the carpet. She reached under the bed and felt the leather satchel, reminding herself that she needed to find a real hiding place for the money. She picked up the satchel and turned it over, spilling its contents onto the bed. Now that she had some furniture, she could consider keeping a small portion of the cash hidden in the townhome. The swell of bills formed a green mountain on the bed. Lynn glanced in the satchel and noticed that a couple of the bundles had not come out.
