You Intoxicate me

Chapter 8

-Ambrose P.O.V.-

Before anyone else can say anything, someone is banging on my office door. “Enter.” I say loudly to where the person on the other side could hear me. I look at Seth and he just nods as he turns his attention to his mate. I look back up at my door as I hear Seth whisper something to Jake. I don’t listen as an Omega who is in charge of cleaning my suite just bursts through the door. I can see that he is frazzled. Before I could say anything, he was yelling.

“¡Estoy a punto de matar a esa perra de Madison!” (I am about to kill that b*tch Madison!) Nathan yells.

“¿Qué hizo ella?” (What did she do?) I ask as slowly as I can as I feel my anger growing.

Nathan is now pacing back and forth as I can see that he is trying to control his wolf. “Ella estaba en tu sala de estar y cuando le dije que se fuera...ME DIJO QUE CONOZCA MI LUGAR OMEGA!” (She was up in your living room and when I told her to leave...SHE TOLD ME TO KNOW MY PLACE OMEGA!)

I stand up and point to my door. “GO OUTSIDE AND SHIFT!” I commanded Nathan since he was about to shift in my office. Before I could do anything about Madison I needed to get Seth and Jake out of here, so I turned to them. “I think it would be best if you and Jake toured the pack grounds while I handle this.” I say as I was trying to keep Shadow at bay.

Seth just smirks. “Ain’t no way in hell.”

I just growl as I look at him. I don’t have time to deal with him.

Me to Adam(my Gamma): I need you to meet me in my suite in the next few seconds or there is going to be a bloodbath.

Adam: Got it.

I turn my attention back to my Beta. “I will be right back. Stay here or take Jake around the pack land.”

Seth raises his hands in defense. “Alright, alright. I get it. Come on, babe. I am going to show you around the pack.”

I don’t listen to anything else as I make a b-line out of my office and towards my elevator. I quickly press the button to the elevator with shaky hands as Shadow is so close to coming out. I can feel my anger growing more and more. I cannot believe that this pack who*e is not getting the hint and not listening to what I have to say. How dare she disrespect me like this. The elevator quickly dings and I step out to see my Gamma standing in front of Madison. I can tell that he is livid and once Madison sees me, she gets this smile on her face.

“Baby, it took you long enough.” She tries to say with a seductive voice but all it does is disgust me.

“What did I say was going to happen if you came to my suite again?” I ask her as I take a step towards her.

“You didn’t mean that.” She tried to say with a laugh but I could hear how nervous she was.

I slowly take another step towards her. “I didn’t mean that? Really?” I say with a grin that causes fear to fill her eyes. “Adam, grab her.”

Madison looks at me with wide-eyes as Adam moves into action. He quickly jumps behind her while grabbing her arms. He twists her arms behind her back before holding them in place. I take a few more steps towards her until I am right in front of her. I quickly wrap a hand around her throat as I lean down until I am right by her ear.

“You are going to pay for how you treated Nathan. On top of disrespecting my order.” I whisper in her ear as I could feel fear seep from her body. I drop my hand from her throat as I take a step back. I look to Adam to see him awaiting my command. “We are taking her to the cells.”

“Wait, No!” Madison tries to yell out but I just backhand her so hard that her head flies to the side. I must have hit her so hard that it knocked her out.

It didn’t faze Adam as he just threw her body over his shoulder before walking out of my suite. I sighed as I ran a hand over my face while trying to calm my wolf down.

Shadow: You should have let me kill her!

Me: And we will. Just not this second.

Shadow: Well then you need to let me have some time with her in the cells, or I am going to be a thorn in your side. Got it?

Me: Don’t worry, I got it. (I say with a sigh as I cut off the link)

I quickly mindlinked Nathan to come back up so he could finish cleaning my suite as I now needed that who*es scent gone. After that, I headed back to my office only to find Seth and Jake waiting for me.

“Took you long enough.” Seth says with a chuckle while Jake just looks at me really quickly before lowering his head.

“What are you doing here?” I ask Seth as I walk around to my desk. I sit down with a plop before sitting up.

“I showed my mate my room before coming back up here. I wanted to hear what you decided to do with Madison.”

“Oh course you would.” I say with a chuckle. “But, I threw her in the cells.”

“Good. F**king bit*h.” Seth mumbles under his breath.

“What did she do?” Jake asks with a soft voice.

I sigh before turning my attention to him. “She kept disrespecting me. She also wanted me to f**k her which is something that will never happen. She wanted me to sh*t on the mate bond and nothing angers me more then having a wolf sh*t on the mate bond. I gave her a warning this morning but she didn’t listen to it so now I am going to have to deal with her.” I tell Jake as he just listens to me.

He nods. “I get it. My sister would probably act the same way. She hates people who disrespect her.”

“Well, your sister and I have something in common then.” I say with a chuckle as I can see that he is slowly starting to get more comfortable.

“When are you going to deal with that bit*h?” Seth asks as I lean back in my chair.

“Hm, probably tonight. Shadow is not going to give me a moment's peace until I deal with her.” I say just as Shadow is saying ‘hell yeah’.

“I want to be there.” Seth says with a grin.

I just nod at him before turning my attention back to Jake. “So, tell me, are you excited to find out that you are fated one to a wolf?” I ask Jake.

Jake blushes. “Yes, because I know that Seth will treat me right. I have always been jealous of my brother and his mate as they would literally die for each other. You can’t really get that with humans. I mean..you could but not to the same degree.”

“You have a point there. Are you around wolves a lot?”

Jake nods. “Yes. My sister has a lot of wolves working for her.”

I nod at him. “Then could you tell me why you were nervous upon meeting me.”

This causes Jake to blush a bit. “I didn't mean to seem nervous..but I guess I was a little nervous because you basically have the say so on if I can live here with Seth. Not a lot of Alphas accept humans into their pack lands.”

I nod in understanding. “You do have that right, but I do not turn away fated mates as that would be going against the Moon Goddess. I am also not one of those Alphas that hate humans or despise them. I accept everyone/supernatural beings for what they are as long as they are a good being or person.”

“Oh I know that now.” Jake says with a chuckle.

“Good.” I say with a smile before I lose it. “Now, why did you seem surprised about me knowing about her scar?” I asked Jake as I had not forgotten about that.

I watched as Jake shrugged. “Honestly, not a lot of people really talk about her scar or look at it.”

My brows tilt together as I was not expecting that answer. “I don’t understand why they wouldn’t.” I say with confusion in my voice.

Jake looks at my confusion before sighing. “People are too afraid to ask about her scar as it is not something that she really likes to speak about. When she got that scar…not only was she saving your brother but she also got told some things that have rained true.”

Now this really got my attention. “What kind of things?”
