Clear " I hear the voice , through  the inter com as I make my through the old house

As per the reports , the criminals wanted by the government are in hiding here and I'm on my way to get those bastards out

Either dead or alive ,which I don't care

The door cracking sound alters me as I hide myself ,in the dark as I hold my heavy breathing ,giving no clue or my presence

Closing my eyes , I observe the things around me and I hear a heavy breathing with slow steps approaching in my direction

I mentally calculate the distance, the height of my target from the noises I'm able to gauge

And in a single move ,I jump in the air as I pull the trigger ,shooting directly  at the head of my target as I reach the ground

While my bullet finds him well

"Well done ,Agent " Henry smiles at me as I walk towards  of my chief officer door

"Thanks mate " I throw him a fist bump as I find myself inside

"McGregor, my boy

I was waiting for you " Alex voice breaks in as his eyes falls on me which are beaming out of pride

"Thank you , Alex " I say ,nodding at his smile as I settle down in front of him

You remind me of myself ,when I was at your age " Alex smiles ,proudly

I notice the  thin lines which  forms on his  forehead showing his age

Alex is maybe around in his late fifties

Well ,I'm thirty

So not much of a difference

But Alex is somebody, who I have always looked up to at my work

I don't have a father so when I see Alex somewhere I feel that if my father was with me today ,he would have looked like Alex

Smiles Alex ,as he pushes a file towards me

"What about,  Benjamin ?

Isn't he out of mafia business now ?"I ask Alex ,surprised as I read the Bold written  suspects name on the front page

Benjamin is a name every officer would have come across atleast once in their  career

But there was a attack ,last week

Attack on the police officers on duty

They shot two officers , when they questioned a gang on the drug which was been smuggled from the port area

And when the officers made sure they inform the team with a emergency alert  ,to there team " Alex clenches his jaw,as anger strikes his face

"They were too smart ,they used the  local people ,to block our way and surround the police station ,who were on the their way to reach the culprits .The locals  were bribed with money and alcohol

They had no senses maybe ,they were drugged too

They used this plan so well that by the time, the police officers could  reach them

They had escaped easily ,with no much efforts

Now we have arrested over fifty local people who were fighting against the cops because  they were offered a hundred dollars

But none of them were aware about the illegals activites which took place at the port  " Alex completes his sentence as he puts up the pictures from the CCTV footage in front of me

A pictures showing the drunk locals, creating chaos on the roads ,harming the officers and the public property

"It's a planned attack " My voice comes out soft as I look up to my chief

"Yes

That's where Caron comes in the picture " Says Alex, as his eyes stares at me

"Take that bastard into custody

I'll find the truth within minutes " I announce

Alex laughs at my words, like I cracked a joke

No doubt in your capabilities

But this attack is just our clue

Now we all got is a fish from that ocean ,which will lead us , our way

And moreover what clue or evidence do we have to blame Carom?  " Alex pushes his chair back as he walks towards me

I'm on it " I look up to him as I try to stand up  out of respect  but Alex smiles at me as he motions me to be seated

"Marielle High school "Says Alex

As he crosses his arms

"School ?" I question ,out of confusion

"Yes

Bellamy Caron , the only daughter of Benjamin is starting her high school

And she can be a great source to reach Caron family

Like a bait for our hunt "

I stare at Alex as I fail to understand the meaning behind  his words

"I don't understand ( I sigh)

How a eighteen year old girl can do any good for us ,in any investigation?

Especially when its against her own father"  I ask Alex as the curiosity gets me

She does no good ( Alex nods his head, nonchalantly)

But she will definitely lead us to Benjamin ( Alex smirks as he continues )
