Hong Shen looked ecxited like someone in love. looking at his twin, he suddenly felt the urge to hug her.
"she is not wrong, after all we are identical" he said, once again proud.
"okay, fifth brother" Hong Ai replied calmly.
' after all she is your twin, your characters are similar, so dumb. when second, third and fourth brother comes back, I would see if you could still be smug ' Hong Ai thought.
Hong Ai looked around the room in jealousy.
' her mom is so cool, even when she is just a country bumkin ' she thought again. suddenly a glint flashed through her eyes.
"Right! cousin sister, when are you going to school" she asked, looking like she cared, though there was another motive to why she had asked.
"I would be registering on Monday" Hong xie replied to her nonchalantly.
"oh.. so what school will you be attending?" she smirked. this was it, the real reason this conversation was brought up at first.
" Mo city highschool" when Hong Ai heard what Hong xie had said, she was shocked beyond recovery.
"what! is uncle and aunty mad, why would they take a country bumpkin like you to our sch" she shouted without thinking of her words.
coincidentally, Shi Ru had come up to ask Hong Ai to leave with her grandmother, when she heard that.
" it's my choice to put my daughter in any school i want to and obviously I would only put her in the best. Also, my daughter is not a country bumpkin, your grandmother is waiting for you to leave with her" Shi Ru gestured at her to leave, looking extremely angry.
Hatred flashed through Hong Ai eyes and she looked down wanting to conceal it.
"aunty am sorry" she admitted, making others unable to fault her.
One thing Shi Ru could be so sure of about this niece of her was her acting. she deserves an award, she would always make other feel like they were the bullies even when they were the victims.
"mom, it's fine. Am okay" Hong xie smiled and said, noticing her mother's obvious gaze, looking at her pitifully.
"little sister ignore her" Hong Shen added.
Hong Ai stomped her feet and marched away, looking embarrassed. When grandmother Hong saw her expression, she was angry.
"Ai Ai who bullied you, tell grandmother, is it that country bumpkin" she asked.
"grandmother, it's not cousin sister" she said with a frightened expression, making others have the wrong idea that she was afraid.
"how dare she? I will go settle the scores with her now" grandmother Hong moved towards the stairs, before she could climb over, a voice interrupted her.
"I scolded her, is it wrong for an elder like me to scold her niece who did something wrong" Shi Ru asked.
"besides, tell her not to get on my daughter's nerve or I can't guarantee she can come over in the future, anyways who wants a bully in their own house" she questioned.
"if mother had not clarified, even me would have thought that my little sister had bullied you" Hong Feng
interrupted them.
"Ah Feng, when did you arrive" Shi Ru asked, obviously surprised.
"El... Eldest cousin" Hong Ai shuttered.
