seeing her like this, Hong Feng chuckled lightly, making people feel goosebumps over their body.
seeing everything happening before her, grandmother Hong finally understood that Hong Ai had lie to her.
"so what if she lied, besides your daughter is so timid and can't even fight for herself" she judged.
"mother, I understand. I would take care of my daughter and tell her to stay off your granddaughter. let me see you out" she said dismissively, while showing her the way out.
Hong Feng eyes darkened while staring intently at Hong Ai as they walked out of the house.
Shi Ru came back into the house looking extremely troubled. if she hadn't come out at that time, that girl would had framed Hong xie.
if she could do it here that would mean she can always do it again. how would her daughter cope then?.
"mom it's fine we, are brothers are here so we won't let her harm our sister, regarding that she is still weak" Hong Feng consoled his mother.
"I hope so, That girl is so scheming. I wonder how her mother trained her" she sneered.
"right, mom. where is my sister" he asked happily, traces of smiles can be seen in his youthful face.
"big brother" A soft and tiny voice called out to Hong Feng.
Hong xie had been standing there the whole time and had seen how Hong Feng had had defended her from Hong Ai. she had seen how worried he had been for her, so she decided to be friendlier to him. but who was weak??.

thought.
"big brother" she called out again, this time more loudly.
Hong Feng came back to his senses and hugged her lightly. he could feel her soft body that felt fluffy.
"big brother could not save you at the time you were kidnapped, he is sorry" he apologized softly.

Hong Feng brought out a box from his pocket before giving it to her.
"big brother bought you a bracelet".
"thank you big brother" she wore them on her wrist before turning to look at Shi Ru.
" mom don't be sad, I can take care of myself" she told her.
"come here" Shi Ru pulled her into her arms.
"sweetheart, you have suffered" she hugged her more tightly.
All these while, no one noticed Hong Shen narrowing his eyes at the door, wanting to beat up Hong Ai.
