I took my suppressants but they were not helping me at all. My eye was stuck to the door and Kira was also sitting near me on the couch.
“They are taking so much time. I hope they will be alright,” Kira said, and I nodded. That awkward silence again stretched between us.
“Kira! What if they fail to bring them back? What would I do without my kids?” I asked her and she put her hand on my hand before squeezing it in an assuring manner.
“They will be back with our kids. No need to worry about them. Think positive and be brave,” She said, but I know, She was also scared for my kids.
