Chapter ElevenFritz Several minutes later, after Malcolm had come to. We—or, rather Bryce—walked him to the door. I was ready to leave, but Bryce suggested I needed a coat, if I were going to go anywhere that required my going out into the elements. I paused in thought. “Oh, right.” It was winter and cold. I asked for a coat, and Mindy brought me one. Naturally, it was an expensive one with a fur collar. With purse, cell phone and coat, I was ready to leave. Bryce had a black leather jacket that he filled out nicely. Bryce escorted me to the elevator. I refused to get into the wheelchair and told Bryce he had to help steady me.
