Chapter SevenMr. Jangles
Booth Wessel Jangles lay on the white carpet pulling himself together mentally and physically. At first his body felt numb, but inch by inch, feeling came back to his muscles, the tingling became painful, but subsided after several minutes. He felt more human than cat as the minutes ticked by. He moaned a few times while the pain made him shudder. His body had made a sudden transformation while he lay nude in the man's house. Many of those changes not so pleasant. Similar to when he was turned into a cat by the witch, just as painful and just as confusing. The brain had to also shape and form, and become human with human thoughts and emotions.
