I was awake, but I didn’t want to open my eyes yet, because the bed was just too comfortable. Fortunately, I didn’t have a headache. So, no hangover. I was going over in my head what happened last night. I really wanted to remember everything, in case something embarrassing happened. I smiled a lot when I remembered that Matthew called me his girlfriend, when he was getting that guy away from me. It made me wonder if he really saw me as his girlfriend already, or if he just said that because he wanted me to be his girlfriend. As my memories of the night continued to fly through my mind, I realized that I didn’t remember getting home. That was enough to make my eyes fly open. I flung myself up.
