Cameron was driving us to this company meal that we were having with the executives and their personal assistants. I had honestly forgotten all about it, or I would have reminded Mrs Walker and Cameron to tell Eilith in person, as she was not working here when it was arranged. She must have surprised her. Cameron chuckled, “I have never seen you this nervous before.”
“I am not that nervous, just concerned about what she will think. I don’t want to distress her,” I responded.
“I don’t think she knows you are the CEO, and it certainly might distress her. I suggest the moment you have an opportunity to talk to her, then try,” he said.
