I could feel Casey’s heartache when the guys came in. I knew she wanted to tell them, but was bound by the Alpha command. I didn’t like them touching her or her touching them, but they’ve been there to protect her and for that I respect them.
When Blaine was questioning her trust I felt it break her heart further. They deserved the truth as much as I did so I gave them the shorter version of why she kept this secret.
After we explained everything we decided to go out to eat, but first we needed to find Marie. It wasn’t hard since she loved being in the kitchen with Kathleen.
“Ryan!”
She ran right into my arms. I picked her up and hugged her.
“How are you, Princess?”
“I’m helping Kathleen make carrot cake for dessert tonight!”
