CHAPTER 7

KAI'S POV

"Why do you blame us? What do we have to do with the threat? We just arrived after we did something bad? Are you serious? What proves to you that we did it?" Layla said to the dean in disgust. The dean sighed.

"Did you check your email?" The dean asked. We both looked at each other and Layla took out of her phone and checked her email.

Her eyes widened as if she saw a ghost on her cellphone. Layla suddenly turned pale with fear. I was so surprised that when I opened my email on my cellphone, I dropped it and got scared.

Someone emailed us with three Photos. First is William who has now been beheaded and his genitals have also been removed and his body is marked with a spreader that proves that this is William. Next was the woman who confessed to me before she died, she's naked and no eyes. Kayla was next, also naked and without her tongue and hands. They were all bathed in their blood. Layla screamed in fear and fell to her knees on the floor. I was stunned by what I saw and my knees went weak. It also has a message that says 'We will meet again'.

"Now there is a threat here in this school." The dean said and sat down properly. Layla and I both looked at her.

"Some students are threaten and some of them has a message that they will die soon." She explained.

"Hahaha, then you're accusing us? Even we received threats? What kind of b*llsh*ts is this?" Layla said laughing angrily.

"I never said that I was accusing you two but I feel like someone has involved with this." She said.

"Yeah! You're accusing us! You just said it to yourself. Someone is involved and you called us here! Isn't it enough that you are making us look like we are involved in this?" Layla said.

"Layla stop." I said.

"No! She's accusing us!" Layla.

"Stop Layla. Kai, the detective are coming this way. You're excuse in the class." She said and she walked out.

"What a b*tch. Is that why she's not married?" Layla said and she took her cigarettes.

"Are you going to smoke here?" I asked.

"I'm sorry, I'm so stressed. I just need one." She said and she puffed a smoke.

"I'm sorry." I said. She look at me strangely.

"For what?" She ask.

"I think the dean is talking about me." I said.

"Why would you think that?" She said.

"Because I'm the last person who interact with them." I said.

"We've told you many many times to do not blame yourself with this sh*thole. This is not your fault. Its their choice to commin suicide, not you and besides, you also got an threaten email. That's fair enough." She said.

"Thank you Layla. I mean for staying and for defending me." I said.

"*Sigh* Don't mention it. I'm your bestfriend, ofcourse I'm your side." She said and I wiped my tears.

"I should talk to Paul and explains everything to him so that he can understand. I need your phone to prove to him." She said and I gave my phone to her.

"See you later." She said and she left me alone here at the office.

I really don't know what to do, why do I feel sorry for what is happening now? What have I done? What is my fault for this to happen?

LAYLA'S POV

I'm walking back to class. I felt that Kai's cell phone was constantly vibrating so I thought to take a look because why not? When I took a look it was from an unknown number but only the name J was written on it. It's surprising, Kai is talking to someone without telling us? When I looked at their messages, most of them were from J and when I read a few messages today, I doubted because they were constantly calling and texting Kai.

He's apologizing and sometimes getting angry for not replying and also being possessive, some also say how much they like Kai and at least talk to him. Is he a stalker? Ahhh maybe this is what he is referring to that someone followed his mysterious someone who is said to admire him. Kai talks about him not too much.

I got annoyed how he texting him too much and every minute so I decided to blocked his number and I would unblock if I was done using his phone. He wouldn't mind. Right?

When I entered the classroom, our classmates were scared. I didn't care and I just made them a glared before I went to Paul's side.

"You hurt his feelings." I said coldly.

"I know, I know and I hope he forgives me. I was just scared because of the spreading threat. My family was threatened so I avoided it. Please forgive me." He said sullenly. He didn't do it on purpose but because of fear.

"You don't need to avoid us. We also got threaten." I said and he looks at me suprisingly.

"A-are you serious?" He asked and I showed him both of my phone and Kai's phone and showed the emailed. He suddenly burst his tears.

"I'm so sorry." He said.

"No, apologize to Kai. He needs us. Only us can stand by his side and you knew that. He needs us and we have to stick together." I said.

"Yeah."
