CHAPTER 6

KAI'S POV

Mom took me to school. I didn't want to because mom insisted, so that she wouldn't be too worried, I just agreed. I felt something strange about mom's behavior, as if she was scared and restless. I didn't even think to ask her because she only answered me,

"Don't worry hon, I'm just tired from work.". I didn't want to annoyed her so I just let her.

"Be careful hon, I always remind you that when you feel strange, call me or even your sister. Don't believe what others say too soon. I love you my loce." Mom said, I was surprised by what she said but even if I asked him again, she couldn't answer me.

"Okay? I'll see you later mom. Love you." I said and wave goodbye.

"Don't worry. I'm not leaving you. I'll promise." She said and I nodded.

"Excuse me. Kai Hilbert, the dean is going to talk to you as well, Layla." The admin said. Layla and I looked at each other.
