Trees race by us with alarming speed as Lance revs his engine. We’re going faster than I’d ever want to be while riding on a motorcycle, yet I don’t fear his driving. Somehow I know I’m safe with him as I wrap my arms around his waist and he drives even faster. It’s the pack that I’m truly worried about. Despite everything Sebastian said before, running off with a rouge is one step too far. There’s no way they won’t kill me if they catch me now.
