June 11 - Sunday
Today Matthew and Brandon led a praise and worship service before we started into work again. Brandon played the guitar and he’s actually pretty cool. He sang a funny song for the kids of the village. It was all about the Garden of Eden. It was really cute seeing their little faces lit up when they did all the dance moves. The kids here are so nice. Everyone here is so nice, I guess. Matthew delivered a sermon. He’s a really good speaker. I was surprised by how good he was. He’s also pretty cute in like an awkward dad sort of way. I dunno. I sat next to Sarah and we talked a little bit before service. She said tomorrow she can sneak me away from the worksite to a nearby village where there is a satellite phone so I can call my folks. I CAN’T BELIEVE IT! I was so happy
