Chapter 8Arnie was now seeing Collin secretly, mostly at lunchtime since the night of Collin’s visit. Arnie’s excuse to Collin for these daytime trysts was Jason was unwilling to watch Mama and the puppies in the evenings. This was only partially true. Jason wasn’t able to watch the puppies, but It was really more because Jason worked late many evenings and seemed to be spending a lot of time at the bowling alley rather than any unwillingness on Jason’s part.
