The next week was normal with Caitlyn working as usual. There were no more surprises, no more weird named best friends or no more shopping sprees by Jackie's mother. Jackie's father visited the office some times to just see how things were going and it seemed that the father and son were getting along bit by bit, but steadily. Their communication gap was now fading away and they spoke a lot more freely than they did all their lives. It seemed that everything was going well with Jackie too. And the best part in that was, he saw Caitlyn smile a little to him and often caught him off guard with her surprising smiles. Every little thing she did to open up, even though it was as small as offering a small smile, warmed up Jackie.
