A boss succesor

ON THE SAME EVENING
AT ELLA'S POW:
I was eating my food, and my mind got to John and Noah. I need to bring them there since they have helped me.
-I have a little favor from you to ask.-I said.
-What favor?-A boss asked.
-After I was kidnapped, two boys were living in an almost broken hut. I want them to be here. I need them to be safe since they have helped me.-I said.
-I will ask a guard to bring them with their belongings.-A man said.
-Thank you.-I said and smiled. -Don't tell them a reason.
-Of course. -Man said.
I watched how he moved his hand, and the guard left. It looks impressive.
-You don't look old why do you need a successor now?-I asked.
-I am ill, and most important people know about it.-Man said.
-Why your previous boss wants the ruler to be a female?-I asked.
-He was once saved from death with a woman, so it's his way to repay for it.-Man said.
-I see. I will try to do my best.-I said.
-I will teach you everything. Right now, I am going to give you a room, so you could rest a bit.-A man said.
-Thank you.-I said.
-Maid, show her the main guest room.-A man said, and the maid walked inside the room.
-Have a good evening, Bella.-Man said and smiled softly.
-Thank you so much. You are the first person who is so kind to me.-I said.
-I know that everyone is going to like you here. Most of people know about it, and they will be grateful to have you as their leader. -Man said, and I left the room.
I followed the maid who took me into a room. I was surprised when the maid opened the door to my new room. It looks so big and fancy. Comparing to my room at Adrian's place, this one is much more massive. I looked around, and then I looked back at the maid.
-Something is wrong?-The maid asked.
-No, everything is alright, I am only surprised at the size of the room. -I said.
-Boss asked me to give you the best room here since you are his apprentiance.-Maid said.
I understand that.-I said and smiled.
-I am glad that everything is to your liking, miss.-A maid said and left the room.
I smiled and sat down on the bed. I am happy that this 'boss' guy is so helpful to me. He gave me a room, and I am sure he only doing that to please his grandfather. I took a shower and made my hair into a bun. I laid down on the bed and fell asleep pretty quickly.
--The next morning--
I woke up and saw some clothes close to my bed. I looked at it and saw a small note close by. I picked up a note and started reading it.
'Miss, this is a new set of clothes for you. We have two sizes in case one of them is not going to fit it. Boss is waiting for you downstairs'
I can not believe that he is doing that for me. I know that he wants me to be his successor, but it's a bit too much.
I got up from my bed and took a quick shower before going downstairs. I am glad that it did not take me a lot of time to do that. When I walked inside a living room, I saw him already waiting for me.
-Sit down, Ella.-Man said.
I sat down and looked at him curiously.
-What is your name? If I am your successor, I want to know your name.-I said.
I looked at him and saw how he laughed.
-Of course. My name is Mike.-He said.
-Thanks, Mike. Have you got John and Noah here?-I asked.
-I did it yesterday. They seemed to be pretty worried but I gave them a room and made sure that you are okay. They have seemed to be pretty worried about you.-Mike said.
-Thank you, Mike. You did me a great favor.-I said.
-No problem.-Mike said.
I heard steps and saw John and Noah walking downstairs.
-Bella!-Noah said and ran closer to me.
-They did not harm you, did they?-John asked.
-NO, I am alright.-I said and smiled.
-We are so happy to hear that.-John said.
-You two can eat breakfast with us.-Mike said.
-Thank you, sir.-Noah said.
-Call me, Mike.-He said.
-Why are you taking care of her? Do you planning to harm her?-John asked.
-I am not planing her. Indeed, she is becoming my successor.-Mike said.
-Are you making her a criminal?-Noah asked.
-I am not. I am going to give her all of my possessions, and that is why I took Bella here. It was my dead grandfather's wish.-Mike said.
-That sounds weird, and I wonder why you have chosen her of all the people.-John said, confused.
-I can see that she got a kind heart, and I like that. Bella is going to change everything here for the better. -Mike said.
-I understand that.-John said.
-I think that you are right about it.-Noah said and smiled.
-I am ready for my first lesson or something that you have planned for me.-I said and smiled.
-First, I want to know what kind of skills do you have, Bella.-Mike said.
-Skills?-I asked.-Stuff that you are for sure doing pretty good and you are proud off.-Mike said.
-I am good at cooking, studying, I lived a simple life.-I said.
-So no fight skills whatsoever?-He asked.
-In my place, there was no need to fighting. Everything got fixed by law, and people have obeyed it.-I said.
-Sound like a nice place to live.-Noah said.
-Fighting is happening pretty often here.-John said, and I nodded.
-Can you tell me more about 'law'?-Mike asked.
-There are rules made by a higher rank people. They were written on paper, and others are listening to them. If they were not listening, they got punished by p*****t and stuff.-I said.
-I like that idea. I think that you will be a good leader.-Mike said.
I better not tell him that was in my country. If I going to be able to use something like that then people might have a better life there.
