As I approached the Crest Moon Pack’s territory, the air felt heavier. I quickly took out the blue potion orb, gripping it tightly in my hand. This small orb was my only way to sneak into the mansion undetected.
With a quick exhale, I chewed it, feeling an odd shiver run through me as I became invisible. Slipping through the pack’s grounds, I found my way into the mansion with ease. My heart raced as I navigated the familiar hallways. I want to see Megan and to continue my investigation.
As I approached her room, I heard voices. Confused, I go inside still cloaked in invisibility. What I saw made my blood freeze.
Megan sat on the bed, her cheeks visibly red and swollen. Beside her was Cindy, her personal servant, dabbing ointment on Megan’s face.
