After what felt like an hour of waiting, we were finally ready to leave. I had already changed a long time ago, and I spent all the time at the bar, with a glass in my hand as I kept waiting for some sort of news about the warehouse. But when nothing came, and Gina finally managed to get changed into a desirable outfit, we set off.
“You look beautiful,” I said, leaning over to kiss her on the cheeks as we walked into the elevator.
