* William's POV *
Harvey Baines was a man I had come across exactly five times in the past, and each time didn't end well. He was a hired assassin, and the most lethal man I had ever had the displeasure of facing. The last time I met him was about four years ago, and the confrontation had ended with a knife in my back and him with several broken limbs. I would have finished him off if I hadn’t been pulled away by Alpha Daemon, who insisted that he wasn’t worth it.
And the man was a freaking vampire, for crying out loud.
My blood boiled at the sight of him, and I wanted nothing more than to fly across the entire floor and punch him right in the face. I despised him with every fibre of my body, and I knew that if I was alone with him right now, I would already be attacking him.
