Tainted Air

1222 Words
Back behind our group, a crowd of useless government agents gathers around us. Their insignificant piece of s**t walkie-talkies hummed with voices from others still in Second Chance. The government agent blue tooths all stuck up in their puny little ears like they are supposed to be important… to what, I don't know or care.  Behind the agents is the Hekate's. Bloodstains cover their once silky robes from where they were tossed around the food hall at Second Chance. Behind the Hekate's is me, every so slowly backing away. Out of habit, I reached for a cigar, but nothing was there but an empty pocket from clothes that I would not be caught dead in if my life depended on it. I rub the pads of my fingers, wishing I had just one cigar. The need for nicotine was taunting me on a whole extra level of crazy because something was tugging at my core—something I didn't like at all.  I smelled the air, sniffing around for what sinister creature could have left such a potent odor on the fresh-mowed lawn that Biddleworth kept too perfectly well. With my Alpha senses, I tune out the useless sounds and listen. Nothing unusual is there, just the f*****g Robin sitting up some branch fussing because we are all too close to his nest. I glance over at Pearl and my annoying twin.  God, they smell of s*x. Even from here, the scent reeks of my brother and Pearl's lovely juices. "She should rightfully be mine," I mumble and back towards an empty white painted bench. "But now look at her wrapped all around Charles, and they are having a baby. Where the hell did I go wrong?"  The scent slams up my nose again, only stronger. "Maybe fate has made a turn… a different path for you, Richard," Lucian suggests quietly. "I didn't ask for your opinion," I snap, not wanting to hear it. "I know." Lucian brags. "Don't you have something to do?" I fuss, wishing I had control over his mouth. "No, I am good," he teases in a matter-of-fact tone. Further away from the crowd, I back away, trying my best to get that strange odor away from me, but it's useless. "f**k," I grump within. "This is bad." "Something… getting under your skin, Richard?"   I scan the area some more until I feel reassurance nothing is around us. With my teeth clamped shut, I talk until no one hopefully notices, "At least tell me you notice it too?" "Notice, what?" Lucian tries to appear innocent, but I know he is just waiting to hear what I have to say by the sound in his voice. "The moment we stepped on this soil when I look at Pearl, something isn't right. Her scent smells… different." "Yes, I did." Lucian agrees. We need to get down to the park. I need answers. "Hmm," Lucian thinks to himself, "I never thought I would say this, but I agree." "Let's round up everyone up," I suggest and start walking back the crowd. "Do you have a plan?" Lucias asks with concern. "That is a lot of people over there. You will have to get them to listen to you. You do realize that?" "Yes, I do," I answer and walk up towards the Hekate's. "Oh? What is it?" Lucian seemed impressed. I shake my head back and forth and laugh at him. "It's not that hard to do." I yell out above the crowd, "We should get going." "Really, Richard? That was your master plan?" One by one, everyone turns towards me. Pearl and Charles stare the hardest, but I knew the one that I would trigger. Erik. Erik marches past everyone and walks right up to me. We stand toe to toe. His eyes instantly become golden amber. Stokes growls from within, but I patiently wait for his petty little comments. He needs to let it go. The past is the past. Nothing comes from his parted lips. Silence. Cold, darkening, silence. Down on my wrist is a titanium custom made analog Rolex. With each second, I stare at the chrome plate and sigh, "Ho Hum, Erik. You do realize, the longer we stand here, the longer they have their claws dug into Destiny."  "Yes. I. Do." Erik slowly started losing his s**t. His pretty little hairs pop on the edges of his pointed ears and the tips of his knuckles. A deep growl rumbles from the back of his throat.  I yawn and wait for him to get over it. "The past is the past, man, get over it." "The past is the past! You no-good piece of-" Erik lunges back, ready to take me in a measly attempt at taking me down, but lucky for him, Pearl comes to his rescue and places her hand on the back of his shirt. The low light of lavender beams against his skin, instantly calming the fool. He huffs and puffs but silently retreats next to the two of them. It seems Pearl affects him too. Pearl… it is always Pearl.  "It's okay, Erik. We are going to get Destiny back," she whispers gently against his ear. Erik glances over his shoulder and stares at Pearl. "We better, or there will be hell to pay." He looks back to me and spits on the ground, "Have you thought of offering this piece of s**t for Mary Lou?" "That's not going to happen." I growl back, "Tick-Tock, Erik." "He's been behaving lately. Let's give him a chance." "What? A chance! Are you freaking nuts, Pearl!" Erik lashes out and yanks away.  This time Pearl walks up to me and stares right at my lips, wrapping around the cotton on my shirt with her fist, she grabs it and pulls me to my face. "Feeling a little brave today, aren't you?" I tease. "Richard, I am both Alpha and Hikari now, and my hormones are raging off the roof. If I were you," she glances down right at my balls and warns, "I would behave." "Oh, really?" I smile, God, it feels so good having her so close and hearing the jealous growl of my brother below. "How bad are your hormones?" PEARL'S POV: Just when Richard was halfway decent, he is… Richard again. Here he was taunting and teasing Erik and being a coldhearted prick.  I could handle it, even through Erik's rage. The calming magic I just used to ease the pain was supposed to help us be on our way until Richard made a pass at me.  "Oh, really? How bad are your hormones?" I heard his voice echo through my ears. "How bad, you ask?" I repeat, sliding my hand down the fabric of his pants. "Pearl, what are you doing?" Charles snips. "Easy, Pearl," Hikara warns, "don't do anything harsh to hurt the baby." "Trust me. This will hurt Richard more than it will hurt me." My hands slide around his full, hard erection. Then, I slide my hand further down the shaft and wrap them around his balls without looking away. Richard leans his head back and moans in delight. Before he knows what hit him, I pull Richard's sorry ass to the ground in one hard yank. Richard yells out in pain, grabbing himself and falls over to the fetus's position. While he lays there and cries like a baby, I walk away with my head held high. "Really, really bad, Richard. Now, I suggest that you stay on my good side, and that is not a threat." She nods towards Mary Lou, "Don't worry, you will have your sacrifice before it's over."
