Chapter Thirty-Four – Hypnosis
Aida’s POV
My mind hadn’t really processed this as I ran. It only occurred to me when I arrived.
What would I do if my sleep hypnosis wasn’t able to put him to sleep? What if it made him dizzy and staggering but still able to fight?
By then, Esme and the little boy would be asleep, what would I do then? I couldn’t even carry them back to the pack in my wolf form or human form.
And what would I do with the intruder?
The boy’s hold on my fur tightened and I knew he was scared. Esme did her best, in fact, I think she enjoyed it a bit. Clawing at the man and getting clawed back. She seemed to avoid injuries on her face.
The tall man in a mask was tough but it seemed like he was trying to escape. He did drop Harold. But of course, Esme wouldn’t let him
