I got myself into this situation somehow, while listening to Thane’s uninteresting talk about football.
One might think that’d learn not to follow shortcuts after meeting that enhanced speed gifted wolf that made the league know I was Aida, but I went through it again.
This time, it was to save precious time, as my mother was still displeased by my lateness yesterday.
Also, Thane said he had followed the route numerous times so it was safe. I shouldn’t believe him but he looked sure. Yet….
