My beta was getting on my nerves so bad that if he were someone else, he would have been well on his way to wherever it was that people went to after death.
I kept reminding myself that Alex was merely stupid and did not have a death wish. He was only trying to poke the bear as a joke; he didn’t really want to get eaten.

I knew what he was saying. I knew that I was being completely irrational with the way I was handling affairs, but he had no right to question me. I was already ticked off by the fact that the woman I brought in, my mate who was supposed to be warming my bed,
