Chapter 61: It's me and you, Rio.

The countdown went for fifteen. And in between that fifteen seconds, I stared deep at Rio's soul and he felt it. In fact, everyone felt the stare that I gave toward Rio.
"I ain't gonna lie. I'm pretty excited. So, try to not to die in an instant. Rio."
"Sure thing, OneSec. I ain't gonna die that easily!"
And that's when the countdown disappears...
The moment the duel is on. I didn't give Rio the first move... I dashed straight towards Rio and aimed to stop a couple of inches out of his sword range...
I gave him the image that I ain't stopping. And from his look, I can determine that he's using a quick draw movement to get an advantage on the first s***h. But, since I know that, I can anticipate by stopping a foot away before the slash...
And that's exactly what I did. He put his hand on his sword and I went a bit faster. Indicating that I ain't stopping. But this is just a bait that let him think that I ain't stopping at all. But, the moment I up the speed, I planted my foot down and stopped forcefully.
That's when Rio grit his teeth and take out his sword. He realize what I was doing but he can't stop his movement in the middle of the swing... So I easily dodge the sword that he's swinging...
"Not good enough for your Viewer Entertainment! RIO!"
I immediately dashed straight back toward Rio and he grinned.
"i***t. That's a bait~"
He swing the sword back the other way around and it came so close to my neck. I managed to dodge it with nothing but my reflexes. My body went to a full stop before pulling itself back.
"Okay... Okay... That was cool."
Impressive. His skill had improved from the last time we engage in battle... This is definitely a worthy time to see how well I'm improving without my Blood Phantom skills...
"Fuuuh..."
And so, I put on my guard. One hundred percent defensively. But I also take an offensive stance. One hundred percent offensive.
Rio immediately take a leap towards me. He's definitely making it interesting for his viewers... When he decided to jumped straight toward me, it spells death. But he still does it confidently.
I let Rio leap towards me despite me knowing I can kill him right here and there using nothing but pure speed. But, that's not going to get me going. So, I let him take a s***h towards my head. He swung his sword down and then I take a slight step back and barely dodges the sword.
But then, his sword smashed the ground. Only to be bounced back up straight toward my chin.
"Got you."
"It's close. But it didn't get me."
It caught me off guard for sure. But if he wants to get me, a bouncing s***h is not enough. He needs something more. Unfortunately for him, the current him doesn't have a chance to land a hit towards me. He didn't have enough skills and ability to play around to land a single hit towards me.
While backing up, I throw my left dagger toward the stomach of Rio just to get him off balance and be in a state that he didn't want. And my plans work.
I immediately follow through my movement and throw my right dagger as I'm grabbing my left dagger... It throws his movement further and that's when I slide down and then cut both of his ankles....
He staggered and started to kneeled down. I manage to fully ducked and get through between his legs.
"What the hell?!"
He was shook when I did that to him. I just launched myself up from that laying down position and throw my dagger straight down his neck... And that's the end of the duel.
"You know... I'm not the type of player that would leave things like this unturned. You can never expect to beat me after playing the game in less or the same time that I spend on this game. Also, just remember. No matter how much time you spend on the game. I spend more time of my life playing game."
Combined that with my natural talent. Ain't no one is defeating me in a one on one duel. The best player in the world is me. So, no one can expect themselves to defeat the greatest when they're looking at me as the greatest player in the world. Not as a rival.
I put my daggers away and then turned my back toward Rio and the rest of the livers.
"You guys have done well for the day. When we encounter each other in the future. Don't be shy to greet me."
Of course, despite them having more popularity. I'm still better than them all combined. So, I just said that to not lose the name that I build as OneSec...
All of them leave the Paradies building and then move on to do their own thing. I gave them their present of course. A small gifts that should be enough to keep them going in the game... A good set of gears.
Of course... After the small collaborations that we did. I Iog out of the game. When I take off my gear slowly... I notices that Michi is nowhere to be found. I look around the house and notices a trend. No one is in the damn house. I look toward the garage and my car is nowhere to be found!
"Shitheads..."
That's the only word I muttered when I notices that everyone is gone and leave me with nothing. Well, I do have my bike but I don't really want to go out with it right now. So I decided to do something that is the only thing I can do naturally...
"DION!"
I call Dion screaming at his head.
"Ouch!!! That hurts! What was that for you dumbass?!"
"Ah, sorry. I'm bored as hell. Michi left with the entire family and they leave me nothing! So, I thought I would just give you a call."
"Good gosh... Well, I'm busy right now so, I can't really do anything! See ya!"
And... He's gone... Now I look at the mirror. I notices that my face had the expression of 'Goddamn it all!' It was pissed but also very goofy. I decided to once again, jumped into Eclipse...

I log back in and head straight to the Trench to do some more stuff myself!
