Chapter 85: Meeting up time.

After finishing our lunch, the three of us went out to the front of the hotel because it's the best place to talk. Since apparently, Hanami wants to light up some herbal cigarettes, to reset her system...
"Since when did you smoke? I know that it's just a herbal cigs. But, I do think that a lady as respectable as you shouldn't even touch that."
"Fuuh... Welp, as weird as it seems... It's just my way now. I've been smoking since high school. But ever since I met you, I decided to not blow any smokes on you because you're still a little Shiro-boy. Obviously, it's not good for a girl to smoke. For me however, I just need it to unload of all my stress. I also didn't smoke too much. I just went out for a smoke once a day. You can say that my smoke break is just another break that I utilize to unload through the blow of the smoke."
"I see... Well, I'm still the same Shiro-boy you knew, Hanaommy. I'm still the same one... I guess you are right though... It's good to unload from time to time..."
Rio then look at me like he was expecting something bad... Hanami grinned after reading the flow of the story... I just wipe my face and then reach out toward Hanami.
"Can I get one of that, Please?"
"You are not the same Shiro-boy I knew huh. Still though, I'll give it to you. It's good for an athlete to smoke herbals rather than real cigs."
"Exactly. I heard that from many of my real athletes friends that does boxing and such... They just said that this herbal stuff is the best relief and also a natural doping."
"Wait up! Shiro! What would Michi says if she sees this?!"
As I'm inhaling the first bit of the cigs... Rio says that. Without even batting an eye, I matched Hanami who's blowing her smoke out...
"As long as the smokes doesn't hit Michi, she's not going to complain..."
Of course, I don't know how Michi would react, but knowing her personality... She's probably not going to bat an eye if I just tried this cig. After all, I'm not really a smoker. It's hard for me to get into smoking when there's better alternative when I'm bored...
As we're just hitting our smokes silently... From inside the hotel...
"Huh?!"
I heard a shocked reaction from the back. The three of us turns around and Rio immediately panicked... While Hanami continues to hit her cigs...
The reason why Rio panicked is because the one who's reacting like that is Michi. Who has decided to come out from the room and search for me... I didn't really bat an eye when she saw me smoking either.
"You've gotten enough rest yet, Michi?"
I decided to hit it one more time before throwing it away to the bin.
"Shiro, you smoke?"
"Well, it's the first time I'm smoking and it's herbal. So it doesn't really count as smoking because there's little to no nicotine in it."
"Ah, I see. I guess that's fine then. As long as you don't really put yourself to smoke... I'm fine with you to blow off some smoke from time to time. Also, who's the lady next to you?"
It's natural that she's asking who Hanami is after reacting to me smoking some cigs... Rio immediately thought the worst and step in between Michi and Hanami. Despite the three of us knows that there's no altercation going to happen between the two of them...
"Um, Michi... This is Hanami. She's the lead engineer of the company and the maker of the Deep Dive Machine in the hotel room. She's also my queen."
"Oh, so she's the one that I know about for a while now but never get the chance to speak to. Nice to meet you! I heard a lot about you from Shiro!"
"Likewise! I too, heard a lot of nice and spicy things about you from Shiro-boy."
The introduction between the two of them went smoothly. But there's some unnecessary thing said by Hanami about me that makes me ignore her for now... Rather than focusing on that... I decided to focused on the bus that's coming toward the lobby right now...
"I see... So the rest of the players has arrived huh."
"Seems like it. It took a while, but that's good. We get to see something that Hanami has been working towards."
"Right. Are you excited Rio? I mean, there's not much people recognizing you as the Liver, right?"
"Not really. But at the same time, At this point in time, I don't really care about what's going to happen with my career as a Liver. The best I can do even if my identity is leaked is just to stop the career and make sure my juniors and seniors are good."
Oh wow, what a nice guy you are... You know what, I decided to team up with you on this specific matter for now. There's going to be a lot of altercation happening between everyone in here...
After all, in this international meet, some beefs are supposed to be settled through violence mean. Whether it's in the game, or outside of it. Of course, all officials know about this specific matter and that's why the party is going to be held inside that damned room...
Some f****d up stuff are bound to happen soon and in that time... Only the strongest and survives...
The bus stops right on the lobby and I turned my back toward the opening door of the bus. Saying to them that 'You guys are still far below me'. We are not acting like we're the villain here. We're just here to prove that we're better than them and they're just not as good as us no matter what role they're taking...
Everyone on my group soon follow after me after they realized that I am asserting immediate dominance toward everyone who arrived later than me...
"Oh? Who do I see there? Is that Mister Number One? Mister OneSec?"
From inside the bus, someone immediately calls my name... But the way they call my name, it's kind of irritating. It sounds like they're making fun of me. So I immediately turn myself around and see who it is... Surprise, surprise... It's nothing but a bunch of bugs who's been trying to get up my legs... It's Akros and his goons.
