Sierra I wasn't sure what to really think. Mainly, I was trying to figure out if Cookie was telling me the truth. Could I really believe Victor wasn't planning on coming back for me? And if he was, he sure as heck wouldn't want to find me in the hospital. It was bad enough. I crashed his truck. Something I knew would end badly, to begin with. But I had done it anyway, and I would face the consequences for it. Though, if Cookie was telling the truth, then I had nothing to worry about. Scooting down in the bed, I allowed myself to lay back down, pulling the blanket up over me. I didn't fully relax. I couldn't allow myself to do that. Not while I was still here. The only thing I could do was be grateful that Cookie got them to remove the restraints. Now, I had to convince them to let me go
